Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Global Commercial Development will:

  • Be one of 4 employees leading all Global Sales of MAT’s technology platform within biopharmaceutical, medical device, and investment community clients within a designated set of accounts/geography.

  • Manage and implement all aspects of the commercial development process, such as targeted outreach, opportunity assessment, proposal development, pitch presentations, and recognizing new opportunities with existing clients.

  • Work with account management (SMEs) within the Market Access Operations teams to recognize and close business.

  • Work alongside Marketing function to lead pull-through of promotional campaigns, email marketing, social media programs, and other grassroots outreach programs.



  • Develop a strategic account plan to maximize new business opportunities

  • Generate new leads and clients for the organization

  • Grow revenue within new and existing client base

  • Achieve 100% of company and personal sales targets agreed with the CEO

  • Management of customer relations management (CRM) system to ensure it contains robust information which can be used to automate targeted outreach programs


Experience and Expertise
  • 5+ years of Business Development and Marketing experience of a technology and/or product-based offering

  • 2+ years’ experience in Pricing/Market Access and/or Health Economic related disciplines within consultancy and/or biopharmaceutical or medical device firm

  • Deep understanding of Global health care payer systems and Health Technology Assessments including experience conducting emerging markets’ projects

  • Advanced Account Management, Business Development or Executive Sales skills

  • Marketing/promotional execution experience

  • Experience working with/utilizing portals for communication and market research purposes preferred

  • Demonstrable team building leadership skills and ability to inspire

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree


  • 20-30% including international travel



US/UK Remote within 1 hour of Major International Airport
